For maximum flexibility we operate two programmes through telephone consultations.
The Tailor Made Programme
Based on your returned questionnaire and diet diary we will write your programme which will be discussed during your consultation. This will last for approximately one hour, at the end of which you should be able to complete the programme on your own. However, if you prefer us to continue to monitor you until your symptoms are under control, you can have follow up consultations by simply completing further forms as necessary.
The Full 4 Month Tailor Made Programme
This is a three month programme of consultation and advice. Following your initial consultation we monitor your progress and modify the programme for the longer term so that you can continue to enjoy the benefits. This is our recommended telephone programme because our success rate is based on the three month course of treatment. This option is ideal for those who are suffering severely with their symptoms or feel that they need more guidance with their personal programme. It also appears that being monitored in this way helps with motivation.
Clinics
The NHAS holds clinics in London and Sussex. Once again you complete a diet diary and questionnaire and send them to us a few days before your consultation.
The initial consultation lasts approximately one hour during which time we will assess your answers to the questionnaire, explore your medical history and work out a programme for you.
We recommend a follow up consultation approximately four weeks later so we can assess your progress. We also advise a further follow up six or eight weeks later which allows sufficient time to gain control of your symptoms.
